Negative 1 star. This transmission shop was extremely dishonest and a "rip off". After my transmission failed, and I knew I needed a new transmission, I had my car towed to this shop. The 2 women that answer the phones are not able to quote any prices for work to be done, as was said by a previous potential customer. I was quoted 3 different prices through the 2 and a half weeks my car was being held at the shop, after hassling them for estimates. The first quote was 1700.00, this was before the transmission was taken out and analyzed. I was told that there was a 400.00 fee to take the transmission out and find out what the root cause was, which I agreed too. Next I was approved for 4000.00 of financing, the next quote I got was 3500.00 and that in order for my car to roadworthy and safe, I would need a new radiator and serpentine belt. That would be an additional close to 300.00 to fix those two things. Originally I had wanted to fix the transmission and exhaust system. The exhaust system was going to be 750.00, but since the original quote was 1700.00, I thought I could afford to do the exhaust even though that was an extremely high price for an exhaust. For convenience sake, I was willing to take the hit for the exhaust. If my car was in pristine condition is worth 1600.00, however I cannot afford a new car. I proceed to tell them that my car "just isn't worth it" and suddenly I get a quote of a used transmission that would cost 2450.00. I got this quote on a Saturday and said that I would have speak to my boyfriend and think about it and get back to them on Monday morning. Upon getting back to them on Monday morning, I am told someone called either Sunday night OR Monday morning to approve the repair. NO one called to approve the repair. So, essentially, they were lying. Needless to say, I had my car towed out on a flatbed, because they took everything apart and did not put it back together. I am having the transmission fixed as well as the exhaust for 1300.00 max. Today, Friday, I am getting a call that they mistakenly sent another cars axle with my car and they "need it back". Waiting to hear from my mechanic if they in fact sent an axle with my car.

These guys are honest, its not often you find a mechanic that quotes you a price and you ok the job and when you go to pick the car up its $45 less than you were quoted FOR THE SAME WORK! These guys are great. The job was done when promised and my BMW was clean (like no one had been in it). Thank You Rob & your crew
