I love the Lighthouse. I have been going there since I was sooo little, and it holds very special memories as it was me and my passed on father's favorite restaurant. The prime rib simply can not be beat. I've been to very expensive restuarants and have not found more satisfying prime rib! I absolutely love the place, and it still to this day remains my favorite. I tell everyone about it, and all I ask from anyone every year for my birthday is to go there. The staff is amazing as well. I have not met one unhappy person there yet, and have had the waitresses be friendly enough to sit down at the table, the owner (or maybe former owner, don't know if it's still the same guy) come out to the table and talk, offer a free dessert if you finish a steak (and he actually gives it even if you don't). I love the place!!!!!!!!!!!!
The smokey environment made dinner awful. The food was pricey for the quality (Burger King has better burgers). When there is a live band, you can't hear yourself think. However, as a bar, it is great. Everyone is friendly, the drinks aren't watered down, the beer selection is huge, and free wings on Wednesday (although not great...free IS free) can't be beat.
