My boys LOVE it here, they have so much fun! Great Staff, Great Place - Highly recommended!

I Love Children's nest. My daughter loves it there. And I love Ms. Roseann and all the teachers. They're all very very helpful.

My child attends the Children's Nest in Wantagh and so far we are very happy with the daycare. The primary teacher is great and the other teachers seem so nice and active with the children. Everytime I go to pick up my child, I always see the teachers doing crafts, reading and signing to them. They keep the babies clean, they change them, feed them and read to them. I have one question for the parents that have children at this location regarding Mrs. Louanne, who is no longer working there and my feeling is that she was fired. I never felt comfortable with her everytime I picked up my child, she would make a comment either to me or the primary teacher and those comments didn't sit right with me and I could see that it made the primary teacher uncomfortable too but I didn't say anything. I hope she didn't do anything to hurt any of the children or say something. Does anyone know why she was let go?

The Children's Nest is one of the BEST daycare centers I have ever seen! Both my husband and I are teachers in Levittown and we have our twin boys there. My children come home each day with a daily progress report. In it tells how many diapers they had w/ time changed: wet/dry/solid, what they ate for the day....they even provide breakfast!, their mood, and the activities for the day. They keep the children so busy and interested by all their "learning centers". My 23 month old boys know many colors, letters, numbers, numerous animals and have been speaking in full sentences. They will also work with you on POTTY TRAINING! How great is that??? Each day my children cry....not because they are sad when I drop them off, but because they don't want to leave at the end of the day when I come to pick them up. The other day my son was sick and I had to come and pick him up. Upon my arrival, he was asleep on his teacher who was rocking him in a rocking chair....they have so much love

I don't feel they are a number at this place. Don't think twice about sending your children there:)

the wantagh center, is beautiful, bright, colorful, clean, the teachers are terrific, we love them all, our kids come home excited about what they have done in school each day. Thank you for being home away from home for our children.

It was really upsetting to see that someone gave Children's Nest one star. My son went to their Merrick location last year and not only it was a wonderfull experience, but he was so well taken care off, plus they have a great curriculum and a pre K program. They are wonderfull caring, understanding people. They had graduation concert for all kids at the end of the year. Since i live in Wantagh i was so glad they opened a facility nearby. I remember the old daycare that was there before called Rainbow where the owner had no imagination or love for kids. The director of Children's Nest remodeled and expanded the place so that i didn't recognize it when i walked in. It's a great place for a kid to be. To your knowledge the salon next door is closing so no one will be near a playgrownd which was an inclosed area anyway. My kids went to the old day care and used that playground. I've never heard anyone climbing over the fance. Parents, you can be sure your kid will be well taken care off.

It has a busted up 4 foot PVC/chain link combo fence. FOUR FOOT?? In a public lot. The playground area has a common area of the lot and can be walked thru by members of the general public. This was painfully evident when the patrons and employees at the neighboring hair salon and..get this..BAR stand out there
