Tidewater Burn Survivors is the first and only burn support group for burn survivors in the Hampton Roads region. We dedicated this support group to the brave patients who have suffered a burn injury. Our purpose is to provide a forum to share stories, celebrate clinical progress and provide emotional support, making their recovery a personal success. The Tidewater Burn Survivors Support Group was established in October 2012 with the assistance of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital to bring together like minded burn survivors who wish to give of themselves to help other burn survivors and their families. Our main objectives are to help support the unique needs of the burn survivors in Tidewater and surrounding areas, to provide a positive environment for new burn victims and their families to have hope and understanding. How to Join: The Tidewater Burn Survivors group is free to burn survivors, and is comprised of burn survivors, families, Sentara volunteers, and a chaplain. Please join us in person at our monthly meetings or virtually through our Facebook group.
