ACO stands for the Allen Community Outreach, a United Way affiliate. What lies behind door No. 1 are some of the best buys on gently used items, from baby things to exercise equipment. It's the "Joy of the Hunt" that makes you want to uncover what's hiding behind every nook and cranny. Proceeds benefit Allen's Community Outreach programs, so it's all for a worthy cause. Merchandise moves fast. Donations, of course, are welcomed and always needed. So clean out those closets, garages, attics and donate to a worthy cause. Tax receipts provided with every donation.

This is one "Decidedly Upscale Resale" shop and one of the best in Dallas. Automatic price-downs make it imperative to shop often. Sizes, unfortunately, are limited to unheard of 2s up to 14, but the upper limit is ever-growing and maternity clothes are making their appearance regularly now. The accessories department is world renowned-where else could you find the perfect accompaniment to carry off an entire social season? Since 1983, each day at least 50 or more consignors flock to Clothes Circuit with items (hundreds of them) to consign.

Victims need a fresh start and help and that is where Friends of the Family steps in with shelter first and then anything else that may be needed, from emotional and legal resources to furniture and clothing. With funds that are made via your donated items at their Thrift store, you will help in that effort. But if you really want to do yourself and your budget a favor, shop their thrift store. Doing good does make you feel good. Buying cheap is good, too.
