This is the best Mexican restaurant I have found in the Tumwater/Olympia area. Prices are quite fair. It's a family run business and the food is more authentic than what can be found elsewhere; or I should say least Americanized. Just one one small detail, unlike most Mexican restaurants the rice is not dry and flavorful. They have specials each day if you would like to try something different. I haven't had a meal I did not like. You cannot go wrong with this place.

The only place I have found where one can sit down and enjoy authentic Mexican food. Not Americanized, not greasy, not heavily salted. Friendly family run business that I would recommend and continue to enjoy.

I have come in often for lunch at least once a week and have never been disappointed. The food is fresh, flavorful, hot and service is just great. When Im in the neighboorhood and I'm hungry or need a few things from the store, particularly fresh tamales, or cuts of meat for my barbeque, I go to Ramirez.
