      Freudenberg-NOK is the American joint venture partnership between Germany s Freudenberg & Company and Japan s NOK Corporation. Together, the companies make up one of the world s largest producers of elastomeric seals and custom molded products. Freudenberg-NOK s product portfolio includes bonded piston seals, brakes, fluid power products, gaskets, O-rings, radial shaft seals and vibration control devices. These products are sold to the aearospace, automotive sealing, health care, appliance, industrial equipment and chemical processing markets under the brand names Flexitech, TransTec, Omega, Simrit and Vibracoustic. Freudenberg-NOK employs nearly 6,000 associates at 39 facilities throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil, including one in Troy, Ohio. Founded in 1989, the company is headquartered in Plymouth, Mich.
