Got my new bed delivered today, by two of the nicest young kids, and my only regret was that I did not have any "extra $" to tip them, which they definitely deserved. Best store in torrington! i purchased a futon and it is the nicest piece of furniture that i have in the house! i love it and so do my children, everybody that i have over wants to buy the same thing, i send them all to pats!

when i bought my matteress, it was a bit too firm. this was my fault, not theirs. but they still switched it for me. the nicest people work here and i wouldnt go anywhere else!

Complete rip-off! My "solid wood" 5 piece bedroom set was cheap particle board. Drawers wouldn't open, some wouldn't shut. All were warped or crooked. Chips in the footboard. Said she had to check with the company to see what "they" wanted to do. I didn't buy the furniture from "them". I bought it from her. After 2 weeks with no word went in person and was told I could return the furniture. I paid $1300 for this set and they won't even come pick it up. Of course if anyone had even bothered to look the set over it never should been delivered to me in the first place. Now I'm stuck with a huge credit with a business I have no trust in or desire to business with again. Shop elsewhere if you value your money and want any kind of customer service.

Oh yes they are friendly when you first come in to buy. Customer service after purchase is another issue. When my sofa with a "lifetime" guarantee fell apart in about one and a half years, they would not return phone calls pertaining to the matter.When pinned down in the store they told us they no longer dealt with the company because they sell junk and to go to a competitor to receive the warranty. We called the competitor and they told us that she has done this before, that it is laughable to think that they would honor her warranty and that she is lying when stating she no longer deals with that vendor. The vendor himself told the competitor that she still has dealings with them. She makes a lot of statements pertaining to the quality of her merchandise and customer service but it all falls very short after she gets your money. I will never buy another item from Pat's and hope that this review saves someone else the money and trouble I went through.

They might not make it seem urgent that you buy that day, but it seems like they lie. Be careful, because you may think you are buying a mattress SET until you get home and realize there is a huge difference between the mattress and the box spring. The mattress seemed nice until the box spring started falling apart and my mattress was sagging after using it for one month. I was told by Pat's that the box spring isn't important and it wasn't a big deal. I wish I researched this business before purchasing because their ratings are poor and it sounds like a lot of people experienced the same problems I did with the poor quality of their products.

They met my needs wonderfully, from my queen sized top-of-the-line bed to my little coffee table I bought so I'd have somewhere to put my feet up. They don't lie or make it seem urgent that you buy today, they just listen to what you need and try to give you the best deal you can get. I shopped for months when I moved from Ohio and still just could not beat their prices. They'll bend over backwards to meet your needs and they'll always be smiling and chatting like you've been friends for years. Can't beat their service or their prices, I can promise you that much. I'll be a customer for life
