My old man used to say you can buy an ad but you cant buy your reputation, you have to earn that. I live in Lansdale and when my transmission started slipping after a fluid change and a modulator replacement I went to two local trans shops. Both took the truck for a test drive (neither put it up on the lift) and came back with the same sad face and script that my trans was shot and needed a total rebuild for $1400/$1600. A friend told me of his experience with Earlington and I went there for their opinion. After the test drive he told me he was booked solid with commitments for that day but to bring it in tomorrow morning, he said he wasn't convinced the trans was shot and he would check it carefully. Believe me it slipped and shifted horribly. The truck went up on the lift and came out 1 hour later, total bill $53.00. The modulator was installed incorrectly and a line had a leak. Truck shifted perfectly, like new,has been for over a year. Have confidence in their professional honesty.
