      General Info
      Established in 1971, Christian County Mental Health Association is a nonprofit organization providing various health care, residential and rehabilitation services. The center offers outpatient services that include 24-hour nursing care, medication monitoring and therapies. It provides social services, including physical, mental and psychosocial counseling programs. The center also has rehabilitation unit that offers physical and occupational therapies. Its respite care program provides 24-hour services, including assistance with daily living, nutritious meals and recreational activities. Christian County Mental Health Association has a training program for persons with developmental disabilities that includes communication, mobility and motor development, self-care, independent living and productivity sessions. The center also manufactures plywood reels and industrial wood products. It is located in Taylorville, Ill.
