I *hate* to write negative reviews but in this case I have no choice.

This review is about the way prescriptions are handled. I am on a medication for weight loss. The pharmacy cannot fill it by contacting the provider. I must have the provider contact the pharmacy. More than three weeks ago my supply was running low and I left a message with the CRWH that Dr. Ramsey refill it. A few days later I checked with the pharmacy, only to discover that he had not contacted it.

The medication is such that I must be seen at CRWH every two weeks for a blood pressure check and a weigh in. Prior to the last two appointments I asked that he refill the prescription and he has not. I have contacted CRWH at least twice a week and have been told that either the message is on his desk, the message is on his desk and is marked urgent, or the message will be given to the MA (Medical Assistant?) and s/he will contact the pharmacy.

My last visit was this past Monday (October 4, 2021). l kindly told the nurse about my lack of success in with refills. She told me that the pharmacy would be contacted right away and I should able to get the medication soon.

I always call the pharmacy to see if it has received a request for any of my meds. If it hasn't I contact the prescriber’s office to let it know. The doctors that I use are very conscientious about this aspect of patient care and this situation rarely occurs.

Not so with Dr. Ramsey. As I mentioned earlier I have had no luck with him. This morning I called the pharmacy and was told that he had not contacted it. I then called CRWH and was told that he was not in today and that I would have to wait until Monday.

I simply cannot believe that Dr. Ramsey has not contacted my pharmacy to get my prescription refilled. This has never happened before in all the years I’ve seen him. I don’t know why he’s gotten so sloppy about this. I keep paying the bill that CRWH sends me but I’m beginning to wonder why I should if I’m not getting the service for which I’ve been paying.

I am extremely angry about this and hope that someone at CRWH reads this review. Dr. Ramsey is not providing me with proper patient care and a potential client might want to think twice about choosing him.

As I said, I hate writing this review because I think very highly of him. I've been seeing him for at least 12 years and he's always been so good to me. He has a terrific personality and takes his time to listen. I hope that this problem will be remedied and soon!
