Simple Manscape Techniques

If you're looking to "manscape," then that means you've got one or more patches of body hair that you'd like to trim or get rid of all together. Taking the time to maintain your body mane can do much to improve body image and enhance attractiveness. However, if you're new to the idea of body hair maintenance, then you may be a little unsure of how to tackle all those tassels. Review a few simple manscape techniques to learn how to easily achieve the groomed appearance you're going for.
Manscaping With Razors
Your trusty razor is likely the most accessible way to rid yourself of unwanted body hair. However, if you want a smooth chest or back, then you should know that the shaving process can be pretty time-intensive and has the potential to cause mass patches of razor burn. To speed up the process, you might consider investing in a back hair shaver. These products incorporate wider blades and a longer handle to help you reach those hard-to-get-at areas.
A smooth shave also has the potential to dry out your skin. As such, you might consider applying moisturizers following a shave to help keep your skin looking and feeling healthy.
Manscaping With Wax
While ripping out your body hair with the application of wax may not seem like a fun idea, it turns out that waxing is the preferred method of body hair removal for many men. This is because waxing is both less time-consuming and offers more long-term results than shaving. Since waxing your back, neck and other areas can be difficult on your own, it is recommended that you visit a salon or spa to have your hair professionally removed. Spas also have access to cooling creams and other products that can make the waxing process more tolerable.
On a similar note, waxing of eyebrows has become fairly commonplace for guys. Again, visiting a salon will ensure the procedure is done correctly.
Trimming Hair Instead of Removing
Many guys looking to manscape don't actually want the smooth skin look. Rather, they just want to reduce the amount of body hair found on the body. When it comes to trimming arm hair, leg hair and other areas, the simplest solution may just be to use an electric trimmer. Selecting a one- or two-guard helps shear off a good amount of hair without looking unnatural.
If you want a more long-term trimming technique, you might also consider electrolysis or laser hair removal. Such procedures can help thin out body hair so you can achieve more permanent results.
