Corporate Party Ideas

Catering

Are you considering a variety of corporate party ideas, and are you trying to plan a menu to match those ideas? If so you may want to consider some of these popular corporate party themes, and plan your party food accordingly.

Corporate Party Ideas

  • 50’s or 70’s Party Theme – One of the most popular corporate party ideas is a 50’s or 70’s party. In a 50’s party, you can decorate with jukebox and other era elements. For food, you can serve drive-in style fare, include huge cheeseburgers, fries, and milk shakes. Serve root-beer floats and ice cream sundaes to top off the 50’s soda shop feel. For a 70’s party, you can have a disco ball instead of a jukebox, and play ample disco music. As for food, fondue was the rage in the 70’s, so you may want to serve a variety of cheese and chocolate fondues and delicious items with which to dip. Finger foods, vegetables and dip, and pizza, all of which were big in the 70’s can also be made by your caterer and enjoyed by your guests.
  • Luau Party Theme – another popular corporate party theme is a luau, complete with grass skirts and Tiki bars. With a luau you may want to consider roast pig and other authentic Hawaiian delicacies, including desserts and drinks with coconuts and pineapples.
  • Company Picnic – company picnics also make for great community building and morale boosting. With a picnic-style party, your caterer can provide picnic favorites, including fried chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salads, green salads, chips, sodas, and more.
  • Texas-BBQ – a barbecue, like a picnic, can be a great corporate party idea. Your caterer can provide a chuck wagon and a smoker for true authentic Texas barbecue flavors. Consider offering some Texas BBQ favorites, including ribs, chicken, beef, pulled pork and famous side dishes like potato salad, coleslaw, and cornbread. Top the menu off with cold lemonade and sweet iced tea.
  • Masquerade Ball – have employees and management don their favorite costumes and throw a Mardi Gras style Masquerade Ball. With costume parties, finger foods work best, and lots of them! Consider chilled cocktail shrimp and crab claws, finger sandwiches, mini quiche, fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese trays, nuts, and assorted bite-sized desserts.

Each of these common corporate party ideas offers multiple food menu options, so consult with your caterer for more ideas. If you consider these food-planning tips along with your corporate party ideas, your next company event is sure to be a huge hit!
