Wyoming State Guide

Wyoming, nicknamed "The Cowboy State", is located in the western region of the United States. John Colter, of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, first explored this region in 1807, but everyone dismissed his accounts of Yellowstone as "tall tales." The Wyoming Territory was created in 1868, and the state was admitted to the union in 1890.
