It was my first time ever going to the vision center in State College and must I say, it was pointless. My current glasses frames have one stem and now broke in the center. I have no back-up or contact lens. My first mistake- telling them the truth about how I am ordering my glasses online and I need my prescription to order them. However I didnt know i need my PD. What is your PD because they wont tell you. PD means pupillary distance, which is the distance between the center of each pupil. ... If the PD isn't accurate, you wouldn't be able to see well with the glasses, and you may feel one eye being pulled away from the optical center on the lens (zenni optical.) I called and asked for my pd.. and the lady told me "im sorry we dont keep that on file." exactly her words... either she had no idea what i was talking about or she is lazy... either way i am appalled, and wasted my time. I TOLD THEM I WAS ORDERING GLASSES! they should know i need my pd as well. It should be in the eye exam routine. Telling me they dont keep that on file is a lie. The lady there lied to me. Not to be trusted.

Very bad experience. Required an unnecessary follow up visit to obtain a contact lens prescription, and when I missed that appointment and moved four hours away I was asked to take a four hour trip for a follow up visit if I wanted my contacts. I couldn't even go to a Walmart vision center near me- apparently they are very loosely organized and do not share information.
