My children recently had appointments with Dr. Watson. I was really impressed with her. She seemed to care about the children.She was knowlegable on all the latest treatments. She was also extremely thorough.

My problems were with her staffing. Her front desk was very friendly and willing to help. It was her techs that needed a dose of treating patients 101. I watched in horror as one of the techs came out and insulted another patient. The boy was pretty young and had forgotten his toothbrush. He was told if he does it again he will not be seen, followed by a great huff and her back being turned on the boy. I do not understand why this was done in front of the whole waiting room. My daughter had the same tech. She is 12 and all she said was "Mom, can we please go to a different dentist, she was really rude to me." I found out after quizing her it was not the dentist, but the same tech that had yelled at the boy earlier. This same tech decided to tell my son that he had to wait outside after I the mom had him by my side being quiet and behaving quite well. He is 7 and I am not going to have him hang out in a waiting room without me. She was really upset that my son listened to me and not her. As a volunteer EMT I have never treated patients nor there family in this way. If Dr. Watson's patients do not come into contact with this woman then they will have a great experience.
