General Info

Since 2004, Alternative Counseling has been committed to providing effective treatment for those whose lives have been negatively impacted by the abuse of and/or addiction to alcohol and other drugs. We also provide help for those with anger issues and/or domestic violence charges. We offer a full range of services which include, but are not limited to: outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient, group and individual counseling, DUI and DV VIP, ADIS, Anger Management Courses and many more services. Our Mission Statement:At Alternative Counseling, our goal is to provide a variety of quality treatment services at reasonable rates. We understand people suffer from a wide range of self-destructive behaviors and that each person is unique and has unique treatment needs. At Alternative Counseling, we strive to provide the latest in evidence-based treatment options. Our professional staff constantly strives to find what works best for each individual and to treat everyone with respect and compassion. We believe that behavior is learned and if learned, can be modified or changed.We offer flexible scheduling, evening and weekend appointments and provide help with additional resources such as community self-help programs and referrals.

I entered the outpatient program and I must say thank you for saving my life Alternative Counseling. I had lost all hope for ever living a clean and sober life and this place gave me the skills I needed to live a peaceful happy life. I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

There a ten betty treats every one with compassion and care not number you would think she was or is yuor mom I had a paperwork delema thaat caused some problems so hand carry your documents where they need to go and you'll bee cool the place treats you very well not like the big places wheer ur a number and another chunk of change coming through the door I have referd a few friends and people that were stuck and confused and bettey carried them through the strugel the only thing she wasent abel to do is help me with my spelling its bad lol :-);-)=-OB-):-D

Very professional and friendly. A rare combination these days. Highly recommended by their clients. What more could one ask for. Very much a family atmosphere. Even the occasional BBQ for the clients.
