Hi! My name is Vicki and I have been teaching swimming for 36 years. I have my Master's degree in Special Education. I am a NYS Certified teacher in several sciences and art. I hold numerous certifications in teaching swimming, scuba and safety services. I founded Art of Swimming in 1996 after teaching as Vicki's Aquatots in the Hamptons since 1981. We are now a full service backyard swim school and members of the US Swim School Association (USSSA), World Aquatic Baby Congress (WABC), American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA), the American Red Cross (ARC) and Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). We teach infants, toddlers, preschoolers, terrified non-swimmers of all ages, nannies, young & old alike. My instructors are enthusiastic, energetic, and fun! We use all kinds of props to make learning fun! Our goal is to get your child swimming with the best stroke in the shortest possible time, for that child, without using force.
