Just finished dinner, with owner Kevin's Duck a la orange. Bit of an extravagance, for many people, at $11.00+ per serving -- comparable with, say, a fine Porterhouse steak. Two could share one of these, but both would be disappointed because each would wish the other had eaten less and they had gotten more. Each portion is an entire duck, boned, trimmed, seasoned, and tightly rolled. Duck meat is often dry and tough, but this is cooked to perfection, crusty exterior, pink and tender inside, plenty moist. Re-heat one minute per serving in microwave to restore body heat. Needs a quality red wine, plus (say) fresh asparagus steamed, baked Idahol potato, crispy green salad. Phenomenal!! Delicious is an inadequate word. Nice guy, eager to help, imaginative, wide variety of foods and wines, great potato salad, quaint and fascinating interior (amazingly, once a hardware store). Off the main path, but well worth a visit. Take your money -- you'll find lots you want to buy.
