      General Info
      Simi Valley Public Works is one of the city departments of California. Located in Simi Valley, Calif., the public works department provides a wide variety of services for civil and traffic engineering, sewers, streets, solid waste, fleet, storm drains and recycling. The department s building services division provides maintenance and repair services for city-owned buildings, and offers technical support and assistance to departments in facility construction. It also provides printing services, and administers contracts for janitorial service, elevator service, and pest control. The department s engineering division offers various services, including surveying, geoprocessing updates, project inspections, drafting, and building permit reviews. Additionally, it provides general engineering information to citizens and other city departments. Simi Valley Public Works oversees the administration, capital improvements and traffic signals, street and road, storm drain and street sweeping, trees, parkway, landscape maintenance, graffiti abatement, vehicle and equipment maintenance, and waterworks services.
