Founded in 1981, Threshold Services helps people with mental illness. The center provides treatment, rehabilitation services and caring community through advocacy and education. Its outpatient mental health centers provide psychiatric medical treatment to individuals, groups and families. The center offers services 24 hours, seven days a week. It has various members, such as legislators, doctors, psychiatrists, business owners and executives. It also provides mental health and substance abuse services to individuals. The center s staff includes counselors, program directors, administrative assistants and also has social workers. Threshold Services has partnerships with St. Luke s Back to provide health care services. Threshold Services apartment is equipped with modern equipment. The center is located in Silver Spring, Md.
