      Founded in 1982 by a Korean immigrant, H Mart operates more than 20 stores in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and Georgia. It offers a large variety of Asian foods, including noodles, rice, fresh produce, seasonings, sauces, beverages, vitamins, natural remedies and cosmetics. H Mart specializes in imported Korean and Asian food and household goods, as well as a selection of Western products. Some of its locations feature video rental stations that offer video and DVD rentals of Korean miniseries, television shows and movies, as well as entertainment dubbed or subtitled in Korean. H Mart maintains a location in Wheaton, Md.
