Looking for an alternative company. Glad I don�t hate my job like the front counter seems to. Horrible attitude!

There has been a mixup with Medicare and although my 90 year old father is unable to walk, Medicare denied my father's claim for a wheelchair. I am in the process of getting the issue straightened out - it looks like an coding error in Medicare's database. Although it's only been just over 2 months since my father got the wheelchair and less than 2 weeks since we were informed about the denied claim, Advantage sent an employee (a very nice man who felt horrible about what he was being told to do) to my father's house to literally kick him out of his wheelchair and take it back.

My Dad was on oxygen which was provided by Advantage Medical in Sierra Vista. He went downhill fast the last two weeks of his life. He wasn't getting enough oxygen. We found out that the oxygen concentrator was last serviced in 2013, at which time it was operating at 92%. The filter hasn't been changed since 2011, two years before my Dad got the unit. The tubing looks like it's never been changed. If you or someone you know uses Advantage Medical, please make sure everything is up to date. Or look for another provider.
