Don't even think about going to this place for skate repairs. They wanted to charge me $20 for putting my skates back to the way I had them before dropping them off. I never got a quote for the job initially, so they called me on my way home saying I have to pay upfront. When they game me the quote, I said no way, but they had already started the job. Doesn't it seem odd that now I'm charged $20 because someone jumped the gun on the work? Ridiculous. Avoid this place like the plague.

This place is very much family friendly! You can host birthday parties here for FREE during the public session and hire a coach for a skating lesson if you want. They have great group skating lessons for homeschool, after school and on the weekend. The Pro Shop has an excellent selection for figure skating and hockey equipment (perfect when you need a skating themed birthday party gift.) I love this place in the winter! It's so traditional/festive, it just feels like the holidays. Plus you get a really good workout (Even though it's freezing you warm up a few times around the rink.) So I can enjoy all the holiday food and come here to burn off all the guilt of those extra calories!
