      Located in Shepherdstown, West Virginia's Historic District, the Thomas Shepherd Inn provides guests the experience of relaxing and gracious hospitality in a richly historic setting. Shepherdstown's unique shops, restaurants, events, and Shepherd University are all within short walking distance. Antietam Battlefield and Harper's Ferry are short drives away. You may bike or hike on the C&O Canal Towpath 1/2 mile away. Under new ownership and newly remodeled in 2022, we host six clean, bright, air-conditioned guest rooms with private baths. Our dining parlor with fireplace, guest lounge, library, and porch overlooking our garden are always available to our guests. Hot and cold refreshments are available 24 hours a day. We accommodate guests aged 21 years and older.
