For those who like supporting local businesses, be forewarned: The Optical Shop in Shelton, WA treats their customers like trash and their employees even worse. Every time I entered that little building, I found a different receptionist working every time. I can understand a bad egg now and then, but EVERY TIME? If a business has a huge turn around rate, they need to look inward for the problem and then a solution. Each and every time I needed an adjustment, a question, or to purchase glasses I always have to wait over an hour to be helped by ONE optician working that day. If I am going to spend over $1000 on two paris of glasses each time I recieve my annual eye exam, I would expect The Optical Shop to hire another optician. I know I am not the only person that feels this way about the Optical Shop in Shelton, WA and urge others to speak up. We need to stand up for our town and let them know that this way of running a business is unacceptable.
