My son and I just moved to WA from CO. We had Direct TV for 10 years and were very hesitant about switching. Let me say I am so glad we did. HCC rocks! There are a few things that Direct TV has and HCC does not, but there are also things HCC has and Direct TV does not. So, they kind of even out in the end. I REALLY have enjoyed the small town courtesy and customer service we have received from HCC. They are there night and day for anything one might need. The internet is great...so much better and higher speed than we were able to get in CO. Keep up the good work, guys and you will have long time customers with us. Casey and Austin Vervalin

Service is ok. Not as many HD channels as other providers. Internet bogs down at peak times like any other. Customer Service makes Comcast look like rock stars. They have no problem shutting off your service with a $60 fee if you are 15 days past due, and they will absolutely not make payment arrangements (even for the next day).

I have been using Hood Canal Communications for 7 years now and they have never let me down. When I've had a problem no matter what time it is they fixed it even in the middle of the night! They are always very nice on the phone and at the Shelton office. You can't go wrong! I have cable and internet with them.
