      The Icing Shoppe is the brainchild of Elizabeth Riggs, whom after over 25 years in the corporate cake designing industry decided to break away and give her work to the public. "I wanted a more creative hands on venue where I could share my designs" says Liz. "I had long dreamed of opening up my own Shoppe near my home in Shelbyville, and it seemed my dream would never be realized". But Liz's luck was about to change in a big way. A store front became available just a few short blocks away from her home, she grabbed the opportunity to fulfill her dream, and the Icing Shoppe was born.
