General Info: As a certified family nurse practitioner, Scott Thompson, APRN, FNP-BC, enjoys providing care for children and adults of all ages. In fact, his clinical experience ranges from birth and newborn care to palliative care for older adults, and every age in between. To Scott, clinical competence and compassionate care are equally important in his practice. For each patient, he focuses on accurate diagnosis and evaluation, developing a treatment plan based on standards of care, and implementation with integrity and kindness. Scott earned his Master of Science in Nursing through the family nurse practitioner curriculum at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In addition to his clinical experience, he has also worked as a clinic administrator and as a nurse manager. When he’s not at the office taking care of patients, he enjoys visiting with close friends and cuddling up with his two cats to catch up on Netflix shows.
