General Info

Luthier Bob Pieper has been playing, building and repairing guitars for more than 30 years. He started out with Brian Guitars in New Haven and worked at Rudy's Music in New York City and Ace Music in Santa Monica, Calif., before returning to Connecticut. Bob offers guitar lessons for all ages and levelsin his Seymour store (next to The Strand theater), and has an interesting collection of new and vintage instruments for beginners and experienced musicians for sale. Bob is accepting consignments, and isselling vintage parts, new and used amplifiers, and new accessories, including strings, straps and gig bags. Customers come to Bob from all over the area because of his reputation for thorough, meticulous repairs, and every guitar purchased comes with free setups for a year. All repairs are done on the premises, by Bob. He's the guy to come to when your instrument doesn't sound, or play, like it used to! For a small fee, customers can also bring guitars purchased online in for an on-the-spot assessment of its condition.
