Just got broken into 12/12/07 and needed an alarm a.s.a.p. I browsed superpages and saw good reviews for island security. I talked to the owner of the company who was a hell of a guy and worked out a great deal for a alarm system. The very next day he had his guys work till 6 to finish my system. I am very happy with my system and company.

My wife and I were looking for an alarm system. We wanted a local company to install and monitor our alarm. We chose Island Security because they were local and though they were not the cheapest quote we received, they offered us exactly what we were looking for. We weren't looking for cheap, we were looking for a company that had people to speak to and installers that wouldn't rush us through an explanation on how to use the alarm system. We didn't want to be handed a manual and told "See, Yah". Island Security does a great job and I highly recommend them.

Island Security Systems has been my "security blanket" since 1983 and I have never been afraid in my own home since. When they installed my system I had been in a car accident and could barely move. I didn't have to. They knew what they were doing and when they were done I couldn't tell they had been here. They cleaned up after themselves and put back anything they had to move out of their way. They were very patient with me when they explained how to use my alarm. I have added to my system over the years and again they were neat and left my house looking as it did when they got there. I have had a few false alarms and I have gotten a call every time. Their monitoring people were able to tell me what area the alarm was coming from and made sure I was okay since I was in the house alone a couple of those times. I have to say they use good equipment because I haven't had to have anything replaced because it broke down. I highly recommend Island Security Systems.

After checking with four other companies we chose Island Security. We are very glad we did. They were polite and not pushy when explaining their product. The price ws very fair. After we chose Island Security, their installers arrived on time,were clean and even took off their shoes when in our home.The work was top quality and they cleaned up and left our house neater than it was.The way they explained to my wife and I how to use the system when the installation was done has made it so easy for us to use, not only when we are gone but when we are home also.When the installation was done they answered all our questions completely and in a way we could understand.
