      Founded in 1914, Standard Iron Works provides diverse engineering, fabrication and structural erection services to its clients. It offers a package of fabricated and erected structural steel/joist, metal deck and miscellaneous iron. The company's structural steel department supplies beams, columns, large trusses and other fabricated structures for residential homes, gymnasiums, auditoriums, valley-roofed buildings and many more. Standard Iron Works' miscellaneous iron department produces numerous types of stairs, railings, catwalks, grates, fences and many other products. Mount Pocono Junior High School, Gress Poultry, Geisinger Hospital, Scranton Enterprise Center and IBM are a few clients of the company.
