stopped in on a whim and my experience was great. My waitress Erin was the best. They should put her behind the bar.

am Italian and have had great food my whole life, but the best thing I have ever eaten is the 'Lobster Stew' from the Mill Wharf!!!! I dont know how this wonderful chef Carmen does it, but every spoonful tastes like you are eating fresh lobster meat dipped in butter!!!! It is the kind of meal you think about for days after and can't wait to have it again!! You will not be disappointed!!!!! Try it you will be hooked!!!

I've been going to the Mill Wharf for the 25 years that I've lived in Scituate. That alone should say something. The downstairs bar is terrific. Friendly bartenders, great food and views that never get old. It's especially cozy mid-winter where a small crowd is always there to welcome newcomers. A winter storm is not to be missed there - the fire is going in the oven, the ocean is roaring outside and there are friends, new and old, to share the experience. The downstairs restaurant (Chesters) is more expensive than upstairs, but the food is really GOOD! It's a great place to take your date. The upstairs restaurant is pub-style. The menu is lower cost and as pub fare goes, it's excellent. For sports fans, there are flat screen TVs mounted everywhere, so you won't have to miss the big game to eat here. The Mill Wharf is a restaurant that I recommend to visitors, family and friends without hesitation.

Very accomodating. Had 30th birthday dinner for my brother here. There was 17 people and we ordered a variety of food from grilled cheese to Veal Osso Bucco. Our party ranged in age from 11-65 so it was a thrill to find something for everyone on their menu . Beautiful view. Sat on 1st floor. Very good fresh seafood. Tuna, Haddock, Swordfish and oysters all poppin fresh. Excellent vodka selection.

Lunch was great. I had salmon over caesar salad with a great glass of Chardonnay Just a nice place to sit and look out at the water.
