I've been reading the Pelican since 2000 while living part time in Sarasota in my motor home in Siesta Key. Since I've left the area, I can still read the Pelican online and depend on getting " all the news". I like the reporting on children and their place in the community. Lots of pictures of the local flavor of the area are always included. The Pelican is also very educational to someone unfamiliar with the area. Great editorials are included ,as well as guest columns. I also like the way the Pelican is always available in locations all around the area. I really looked forward to walking down to the newspaper box on Siesta Key , Turtle beach to get mine. Thanks to Pelican Press for a great read!!!! Theresa Loder
