I have never had anything, but fantastic food and service at Pacific Rim. We eat there several times a week and I appreciate the fresh food and cleanliness of the restaurant.

The Best Restaurant in Sarasota for a great dining experience and a wonderful evening. Martinis are unbelievably delicious. The staff is friendly and intelligent. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I was a loyal customer and sent everyone there. Then I went and the food and especially the service was . I had commented about it and they made me feel they were doing me a favor by taking my money. Although very disappointed i can't say I will not go back after so many good experiences. Although I will take a very long break from going there.

I went to this place after hearing a few people talking about how good it was. Unfortunately I wasn't too thrilled at all. The service was slow, and the sushi was sub-par in my opinion. Being raised as a food critic, the sushi was far from traditional or very fresh. I might have just caught it on a off-day, but I was raised in Japan, and is particular to authentic tastes. The sushi here however is I guess I should say a bit americanized. It might be a nice place to bring family or friends, but I'll keep looking for a more authentic Japanese restaurant for my sushi.

The line to get in is always a long one, but we've decided it is no longer worth the wait. The last time we ate their, the seaweed in my sushi was rubbery and service was very slow. My friend wasn't served insufficent curry sauce with her meal and when she requested more, they charged her five dollars for it. It will be the last five dollars they ever get from her.

Try to get there early, because they fill up fast. We always have the best time when we are there, and often bring out-of-town guests. Pacific Rim has become one of our staples when we go out to eat. Most of the time we get just sushi and it is wonderfully fresh but we have occasionally ordered hot items off the menu and it is just as good especially the Pad Thai.
