A YEAR AFTER THE SUDDEN DEATH OF MY WIFE, SUE, IT WAS TIME FOR ME TO MOVE TO A SMALLER HOUSE AND RETIRE. I DON'T HAVE MUCH MONEY, AND I'M A PENSIONER. AMANDA AT ORI GOT ME A GREAT PRICE, GOD BLESS HER.

HI. JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT ORI VANLINES DID A GOOD JOB MOVING MY MOTHER'S STUFF TO MY HOUSE IN FLORIDA AFTER HER UNFORTUNATE DEATH. THEY WERE VERY UNDERSTANDING, AND HELPED MAKE THIS AWFUL SITUATION MORE BEARABLE.

I used these movers when I moved back to SanJose. My friends have used them before and I actually saw them at work before I decided to use them when my friend moved. They were careful and fast. And most of all, they were very inexpensive!!!



I called up to book my appointment and

I had two guys that came out, albeit a little late, but that is normal I guess especially when I was the last move of the day and it was like 107 degrees out (how these guys do it, I don't know, but they did!)



They were friendly, fast, efficient, and just had a good spirit about them.



I will use them again if I ever have to move again and will recommend them to friends.

This is an update or more like a response to this pathetic company. Um...first off, YOU were the one yelling at me and telling me that I was wrong when YOU were the one that gave misinformation and wouldn't refund our money in the first place! this is only the time that you sent something. If you were a legitimate company you would have records on file of all the people you screwed over, aka, you have other means to get a hold of me and have NOT once tried any of those avenues. So you can't say that you have been getting a hold of me for some time now, when it was only twice. And why should I remove my review from a shady company that screwed us of our money...I need to warn everyone how terrible of a company you are. It's sad that I even spent time writing this, but I needed to set the record straight so people don't assume that you are a great company because YOUR NOT!! You should have made your wrongs right when we first confronted you with the situation. that my friend is NOT a good company or customer service. Want to get better ratings? Fire yourself and shut your company down because your lack of business is a reflection of how crappy of a company you are.

I have some things to say about Ori Van Lines :







1. They claim that they are a family owned business but actually they are just the same as others. They use a "first-time" contractor to deliver my furnitures at 9:30pm and worked slowly till 1am after we have waited whole day for them. I have to let the mover leave and finish myself because they don't know how to assemble them.

2. The communication after I signed the contract was none. The sales lady was nice but she never reply my email for delivery schdule confirmation. Finally after over 6 emails and many phone calls, I got the delivery at 9:30pm, 14 days later.

Ori Van Lines is a front. They operate in unmarked vans & act nice to your face & then give you a bill that is much more than the original quote.



Even if you box your possessions properly, they will find a way to add many hidden fees. They will charge you for more labor, even though the original quote says all the labor is included.



Do not use this scam of a company! You have been warned!

This company is a complete scam. There is no way they could have all these 5 star ratings b/c if you look on yelp, Ori has all 1 star. The ratings on yellowpages for this company were rigged by Ori.



This moving company will tell you your boxes & things are not suitable for a move so they will put your belongings in their own boxes. They charge $30 per cardboard box and then $20 for the labor of each box. That is $50 each box. You will have a couple of those and before you know it, they will add over $1,000 in moving supplies & labor. We were expecting to pay between $1,000 to $2,000. After they boxed everything up, they gave us a bill for over $4,000. When we said we didn't have that kind of money, they said they would unload the belongings on the street in front of our house for $2,000. Then when we talked to the customer service agent, all she did was yell at us saying we had a contract.



Here's how Ori will rip you off: they will make you sign a contract (many pages that you won't want to read), pack up your stuff, then they add all kinds of ridiculous fees, & then give you a bill for 3 to 4 times the amount they originally quoted you at. If you look on yelp, all the nightmare stories are the same.



This company will rip you off. They will act like it is normal & legal to do so as well.



Do not use the movers. Although they quote you a low price, you will end up paying lots more.

These 'movers' act like its legal to give you a bill 4x the amount expected to pay. We were quoted at ~$1,000 and received a bill for $4,000. These movers operate in unmarked vans.



They are a complete scam & will rip you off!



Very lame. Do not make the same mistake.



These five star ratings are false! The people working at this company created fake ratings so they could rip you off.

I really hated having to hire professional movers, but I am glad I did. The team from Ori Van Lines worked very hard in making my move go through smoothly. I was afraid that it wouldn't be a smooth task. Money well spent!
