      Established in 1877, the Salisbury Fire Department provides fire, rescue and emergency medical services. The Salisbury Fire Department provides emergency response training that is designed to help families, neighborhoods, schools and businesses to prepare for effective disaster and emergency response through training and preplanning. It operates more than three fire stations and is located in Salisbury, N.C.
