      Metropolitan State University is one of the leading providers of higher education in the United States. Located in St. Paul, Minn., MSU is approved by the Higher Learning Commission and North Central Association. Operational for more than 80 years, it enrolls over 10,000 students annually. Metropolitan offers bachelor s, master's, specialist and doctoral degrees, double majors, independent study, accelerated and honors programs, internships and distance learning options. The college provides preprofessional programs in law, general medicine, dentistry, engineering and physical therapy. It also provides courses in fine and liberal arts, applied science, business administration, liberal studies, human services, organizational leadership and ethics, computer information systems, and psychological counseling. Metropolitan State University s library houses more than 80,000 books, journals, periodicals, articles and a large research databases.
