This place has actually been in business much longer than indicated. I have been going here since 2002. The previous owner was ran things well and provided a good, inexpensive service. Granted he was no saint to deal with but the actual job done was great for the price. I recently took my down comforter there for its annual cleaning before being stored for the summer. This was a $550.00 comforter and that was on sale! They had always done a good job so I wasn't concerned. When I went to pick it up with the other things I had dropped off, I was handed all my other belongings but no comforter. The person working there knew my comforter had been stolen prior to me coming in and admitted that the owner knew as well. It was stolen the day I dropped it off and no one bothered to call and tell me. It took over a week to get in contact with the new owner. He said he would replace it. When I told him how much it was worth, he hesitated and started pointing out that it was almost a year old (we have had multiple down comforters and always brought them there) and it had a stain on it. I replied that the employee told me they were able to remove the stain and it looked just like new. I said I would find something similar online to give him an idea of what thread count it was, weight, etc, and the prices. I printed out the similar comforters and said I really would just prefer money as we may want to upgrade to a nicer one I found. I received a call a week later saying my comforter was in and the issue was settled. When I went to look at what was ordered it was nothing like what I had. It also had been purchased from Ebay and I have no receipt or proof it is new. He refused to take any more of my calls and would not refund me the $60 I paid to have it cleaned in the first place! NEVER AGAIN and now considering legal action.
