      What is a ReStore? A ReStore is a discount department store, run by Habitat for Humanity. Funds from the sale of donated items are used to change lives, "One Home At a Time". The ReStore accepts donations of new and used building materials, furniture, and other items. Then sells them to the public at discounted prices. All the profits go to the Habitat Affiliate to build homes for families in need. There are over 850 ReStores across North America. Habitat provides a great way to keep reusable materials out of the waste streams and landfills, while providing funding for Habitat’s work.
