We recently moved to the Saint Cloud/Orlando area and had no idea whom to hire to complete a custom furniture project for our new home. We chose Palmer's Wood Designs purely by chance because we found the company through a random search for local custom cabinetmakers. What a wonderful experience it was dealing with Tom!!! He took our general ideas, refined them, and came up with a practical, beautiful design to meet our storage needs. He personally came to our home to take measurements and further refine the design, then made the most beautiful piece of furniture we've ever seen. His attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship are beyond compare--the piece included 6 huge louvered doors, all of which he constructed with small, individually hand-made slats...a painstaking, labor-intensive endeavor, to be sure. His price was more than fair, especially given the labor-intensive effort required to construct the louvered doors and hand-stain the large piece. The project was completed on time and under budget. We highly, highly recommend using Palmer's Wood Designs for any cabinet/custom furniture needs you have.

Tom Palmer installed our new kitchen and bath cabinets over (3) years ago in Kissimmee, FL. Excellent service and the product is outstanding. The quality and craftsmanship is the best I have ever seen. I recommend this business for anyone demanding quality at a fair price!
We live in an average Florida home, but our kitchen is NOT average. This is because of Tom Palmer of Palmer's Wood Designs. We needed help fast. Our kitchen cabinets were damaged by water. Several friends had tried "big box stores" with disappointing results, so we decided to call Mr. Palmer. He personally built our custom, high-quality wood cabinets and installed them. He made brilliant suggestions that increased our storage in the same amount of space. His rate was competetive with Home Depot and Lowes. He also created for us an amazing bathroom vanity complete with huge-capacity dresser drawers--truly a beautiful work of art. Mr. Palmer is very easy to work with and has a high standard work ethic--definately a master craftsman.

We wanted to build a computer station, shelving and storage cabinets and file drawers to make one room in our new house an office. We also checked Home Depot and Lowes but just didn't feel comfortable with what they had to offer. We asked around and Tom was recommended. He came to our home and helped us with design suggestions. We were very impressed. We contracted the work and the finished product was over and above what we ever expected. Everyone that walks into our home comments on that unit right off. Since then he's done a bookshelf in the hall and cabinets in our laundry room. Very excellent and high quality work. We highly recommend Palmer's Wood Design.
I highly recommend Tom Palmer for any custom wood projects. He has built several custom kitchen's for me along with various other projects over the years. He takes tremendous joy and pride in giving the customer what they dream of. He knows how to utilize the kitchen space making the most of it's capacity. The quality of his workmanship is simply outstanding! Why go with pre-fab high end cabinets when you can design precisely what you want for less? He works with you in the planning & dreaming phase, custom makes your cabinets and is the one to install your cabinets ensuring you get what you asked for.
Tom has done 6 small projects for me and his workmanship is excellent. I have seen major projects that he has done which I thought were incredible. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He is also reasonably priced.
Over the past 17 years, I have used Tommy Palmer to build a number of custom projects and built-in in my home. His workmanship is excellent and he will work with you to make sure he understands what you want in a design. The quality of his work is top notch.
My husband and I can't say enough good things about the beautifulcabinets Tom Palmer builds. He built the kitchen cabinets in our previous house and the entire cabinetry in our present home. They are absolutely wonderful. We would reccomend him to everyone.
We were on a tight budget and got quotes from the usual (Home Depot and Lowes) and were shocked at how high they were. We then looked into Ready to Assemble cabinets and almost purchased them. But with any of the above we were going to have fillers and empty spaces as our measurements just weren't lining up with what they had to offer. We have such a small kitchen that we wanted to use every square inch available. Tom was incredible! He gave us lots of practical advice and helped us implement those little "custom" features we were hoping for! I was highly impressed with his vast knowledge of kitchen spaces and layouts. He walked us through the entire process and we now have GORGEOUS, truly CUSTOM cabinets that are simply beautiful. Our kitchen now gives us every possible storage space available and is so efficient. Everything is exactly where it needs to be. I LOVE my new kitchen! Tom's price was incredible as was his craftsmanship! I would highly recommend him to anyone.
