Over 2 Decades of Service, ?It?s a Matter of Trust? After graduating from The Ohio State University in 1978 and internships in Pittsburgh and Toledo, Mark Macri accepted a position with Erie Physical Therapy Associate, Inc. as a staff therapist at Millcreeek Community Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania. While in Erie, he treated mainly orthopedic cases and gained valuable sports medicine experience, working with a semi-pro hockey team, the Erie Blades. In 1988, Dr. Macri completed his graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh receiving his Masters Degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. In 1990, Mr. Macri was certified by the American Board of Physical therapy Specialties and the American Physical Therapy Association as a clinical specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and was recertified in April 2000. Less than one percent of the physical therapists nationally have achieved this certification. In 2001, Belmont Physical Therapy was voted the Number 1 Physical Therapy facility in the area by the subscribers to the "Times Leader." In 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005. In 2006, Dr. Macri received his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree, From the University of St. Augustine

Belmont Physical Therapy, is an independent therapist owned, established in 1982 by Dr. Mark A. Macri, The original location of Belmont Physical therapy was in the building directly across Route 40 from our present location. To broaden patient services, Belmont Physical Therapy constructed its present building in 1990. The 4,000 square foot facility includes: Five Treatment Rooms, Three Whirlpools, Traction Equipment, and an expanded waiting area, business office , and a 900 Square Foot Gym with Cybex and Isokinetic Equipment. A relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, personal attention, and most importantly a highly skilled professional staff with a deep commitment to serving our patients are our hallmarks. Belmont Physical Therapy specializes in management of neck and back pain, painful conditions of the extremities, temporomandibular disorders, rehabilitation of athletic injuries and headaches from musculoskeletal origin. Our sincere purpose is to return our patients to thei r previously normal activities or as close to that level as possible.
