My now five-year-old has been attending both of Maria's schools since she was 1 1/2 years old. Do I see some flaws? Sure. Do I see some perhaps occasional impatience or stern reprimands? Of course. Even Maria and I have had some disagreements, but I've still respected the fact she is a businesswoman with a hard job on her hands. Let's not also (conveniently) forget she offers the most reasonable daycare rate in Bergen County as WHOLE. My child, at the age of THREE, could legibly print her name and write simple words. At age five, she is now reading and doing math at a first-grade level. If you want your child to learn, be socialized, and well-cared for, then enroll them here. Otherwise, you can pay two- to three-times the money, and get a lot of lip service, bottom powdering, and ZERO education with your very expensive babysitting service. Your choice.

In response to 4/18 review - Not true! This is a Great Daycare. My child has been going to this daycare for a couple of months now and I have never had any problems. I been so happy with Schoolhouse Early Learning Center and my child loves it. The building inside and out is so beautiful and clean. The employees are just wonderful with the kids. And for the owner she has been very professional and understanding to my childs needs. I have and still will refer other parents to Schoolhouse because I know how hard it is to find a good daycare.

We LOVE this place! Our son has been attending since it opened in November and the caregivers are fantastic. Maria (the owner) really understands what kids need. My son is a year old and other Day Cares wanted him full-time only because of their demanding curriculum. Really? He's a year old! He's at Schoolhouse part-time, learning social skills and now has a great nap/sleeping routine. They understand his allergy needs and Miss Kima loves him like her own. I trust them implicitly... which means a lot coming from a mom!
