The Rossford Fire & Rescue Department provides fire prevention and suppression services. It also offers rescue, extrication, hazardous material incident and mitigation, as well as basic and advanced life support emergency medical services. The department operates fire stations and has a range of apparatus, including engines, ladders and medical units. The Rossford Fire & Rescue Department is staffed with firefighters. In addition, it organizes station tours and provides fire prevention and safety programs. The department is a member of the Northwest Ohio Volunteer Firefighters Association, Ohio Fire Chiefs Association and Fire Department Safety Officers Association.
