Thanks to the staff who were at the front desk when we arrived after eleven p.m. We were cold, wet, and our team lost big time. The young lady who helped us and gave us our room keys is to be commended...sympathy for our loss and encouraging us to relax in our room. Thank you, and if we have to book a room in the area, we will book with the Days Inn at I-81

Only stayed one night but very pleasantly surprised. Room was clean and comfortable, decor pleasant, nothing exceptional, but got what was paid for. Stairs to second floor a little weird and unnerving if carrying a large amount of luggage, not aware if there were elevators available.

We were very pleased. The staff was very friendly and the bar/restaurant had great food. Continental breakfast had biscuits and gravy which was nice compared to other places we have been.

We were exhausted by the time we pulled into our hotel ! They front desk employee took care of us! thanks!

my room was very nice and clean. nice breakfast in the morning.we did not use pool because it is out door pool. internet was good.staff is very help full. overall it was good hotel. location is very nice. we did find reasturant near by also. i would give dimpi 10 point for helping guest.

The first time we came here we were very pleased, especially with the location. Able to get right back on the road in the morning. The establishment and our room was clean, neat and comfortable. We were so pleased we stay here whenever we return from SC family visits. We will be staying there again next week! We like it that there is a place to relax and eat right at the motel! If you want to have a drink or two, that's great! No DUI's to worry about.

We planned a 2 day trip and Roanoke was our destination to spend the 1st night. We were on Interstate 81 heading south and decided to take the Roanoke/Hollins exit. We used the internet to get pricing for a couple of motels right off the interstate. One motel was $129 a night so we called Days Inn right next to it and the price started out around $70 but having a membership with AAA and Costco our rate came down to $55.96. This rate was thru Days Inn on-line not at the front desk. We were surprisingly surprised how nice it was. The lobby was very inviting and warm and so was the person who greeted us. The rooms were very nice and spacious and included a microwave and refrigerator. We inquired about restaurants in the area and mostly they are fast food but the one connected to the Days Inn was a sports bar/billiard hall.

We stayed at this Days Inn on our way to Tennessee and found it to be exactly what I believe you should expect anytime you rent a room at a Days Inn.(not that it is always the case). I have had problems with other Days Inn properties once you travel further south then Virginia in the past, but have had pretty good luck at any of them that we stayed at within Virginia. This hotel was conveniently located right off of I-81, and provided two clean comfortable rooms for our family last week. While there wasn't neccesarily anything that "wowed" us, we were not paying o be "wowed". We usually look for something affordable and clean, and this definitely delivered. The only complaint I have was that the waffles in the morning tasted strange, almost sour. Other then that, the hotel was exactly what we expected. And I would definitely reccommend this hotel to anyone looking for a overnight stay while travelling along I-81, and will be staying there again if I pass through there again.

I was impress with lobby when I checked in.it is huge and bigger then Hampton inn I stayed in harrisonburg. This property was right on i-81 that's why I stay here and it was right choice.room was clean and nice favor and cheaper then Hampton inn I stayed. Now I will stay here now on

Nice spot to stay for the evening. After 10 hours of driving, it was perfect in all ways. If I had a complaint, it would be that finding a place to eat is bothersome.

We stayed 2 nights and was very pleased with the continental breakfast and the cleanliness of the room. The room had a very clean and pleasant smell and the heating system worked very well.I would recommend it to friends.

We try to stay at the same hotel each year because it's a great stop and just the number of miles we drive during the day. The hotel is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Will try to stay again next year.

easy of and easy back on to the interstate. Tasty breakfast ready early for early departure. Everything was satisfactory. I don't know what else to add.

i was traveling with my family for 4th july weekend. we decide to stay at this daysinn. we saw the lobby and very impress with hotel. rooms were very nice and clean. they have bar.wich i like it. staff was very helpfull and breakfast was very good. my kids likes hot breakfast. my stay was very good.very good value for money.

My son and I have been staying at this hotel for about 5 years on the night before a Saturday, Virginia Tech or a Thursday night of the Thursday football game. I call in August and make all the reservations. I have always been pleased with the service. The rooms are clean. The breakfast has deteriorated though. There are no bagels and the pasteries are not usually fresh. We will continue to use the hotel because of its location.

Room was clean and quiet. Front Desk was very friendly and helpful. Rate was good as well. Would stay again.
