The DUI course offered made an incredible impact on my life's decisions. The teacher was well versed in all aspects of the course. Great clean facility here in Riverdale. I highly recommend these services ie., (DUI or clinical) to anyone in need of superior help.

Unprofessional, terrible/rude staff, unclean environment.

Do not go to this school for the DUI class or for an Alcohol/Drug Evaluation.

Loraine Oliver, the "evaluator" is a complete nut job. She asked me to take a drug test while I was there and she asked how bad I had to urinate, and when I told her "maybe 30%" she said she didn't want me to do it because each test costs her $15 and that she didn't believe I had a substance abuse problem anyways.

Then during a face-to-face interview, she would ask me questions such as "IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS have you experienced any blackouts from alcohol?" and I would answer "No." Later she said she felt confident that I wouldn't require any substance abuse counselling but said that she couldn't complete the evaluation until I took an $85 NEEDS assessment from HER school. I asked her if I would be able to transfer this assessment to another school if I elected to go elsewhere for my DUI school and she said, "Yes, they are good up to 12 months."

While at work a few days after taking the NEEDS assessment, I got a rude call from her accusing me of having discrepancies between my Paper NEEDS evaluation and my face-to-face interfiew. During the NEEDS assessment, a question was asked, "Have you EVER experienced a black out from alcohol?" and I responded "Yes," because when I was in college, years ago, I had experienced one. She then made me request my driving record for $10 from the DMV which only indicated a speeding ticket from when I was 18. She then somnehow found this to be conclusive enough evidence for me to require Alcohol and Substance abuse counselling??? Not only that, but she went out of her way to call my probation officer to tell her that I was rude to her and that I completely lied to her during our interview. Her written evaluation about me was riddled in grammatical and spelling errors further indicating her incompetence as a professional counselor and her lack of professionalism. I don't know where she got her "master's degree" but I sure wouldn't send my children to that school. Just look at the name of the DUI school, "A Affordable DUI School." The name of the school doesn't even make grammatical sense. If they can't recognize the fact that the name of the school should be, "An Affordable DUI School," how can you expect her to give a proper evaluation of a client.

Recently, I went to another DUI school to take the DUI class and called A Affordable DUI School and requested that they transfer NEEDS assessment that I paid for to the new DUI school and they refused saying that they don't transfer NEEDS assessment when the new DUI school informed me that they get NEEDS transfers all the time.

This place is a scam but unfortunately they have no rules or governing body making sure that they treat their court-ordered customers like human beings. Go elsewhere.
