Jay Remsburg is a liar and a thief and you will lose the money and time you invest in him, all of it. Do NOT hire this man. He is counting on your ignorance and exploiting his subcontractors to drive away with thousands of your dollars. He is a charlatan. Avoid him and warn your friends.

Unless you want a lien on your house or a leaky roof and foundation DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR. He is a liar and thief!!!!

I agree with all of the bashing reviews on REM! This is the worst experience of my life! How someone can do this and get away with it even temporarily is beyond me. Whatever you do, if your in the market to build a home don't get yourself or your family wrapped up in the mess that many of us are in already. He is a smooth talker and will promise you fantastic things but you will get the complete opposite.

My advice to anyone thinking of building a house with REM would be don't do it. Building with REM has been nothing but a nightmare. I suggest you find a builder that pays his bills and has the ability to finish a house he starts.

thanks to this man not paying his subs I received another lien from an unpaid sub. Do not use REM for nothing . He is the worst builder on the planet. Thanks for nothing Jay. I can't believe you can do this to people. You are a real piece of work.

I would not let this man build me another house even if he was the last builder on earth. I would rather live in a cave than a REM house. We have had nothing but problems with the builder and the house. We were promised this great house and a great experience. We totally got the opposite. It has been the worst experience of my life. I can't believe he can do what he does to people and sleep at night.

I would highly recommend NOT using this builder. You will have nothing but problems and potentially have to pay for your house twice. He takes draws on your house and uses it for other things. Then the subs put liens on your house and you have to pay for them again. It is a total nightmare! Do not use him.

Beware of this contractor he has ripped off many of us already. He is a good saleman and a great liar, do not trust anything he says, everything is always someone elses fault. He will tell you he is the best, but he is far from that just ask his past customers.

I would not ask this man to build a dog house, but then he wouldn't have the money to pay for that either, I agree with the customers below, BEWARE of him. Amazing how he continues in business lying to us customers. Jay we are on to you!!!

Yes BEWARE of this slime ball of a man and contractor, he will take your money as his suppliers are placing liens on your home and property. He can't pay his bill's or the people working for him!!! Take a look at his judiciary records and ask around everyone else is on to him he deserves to be out of business!!! He has ripped many customers off and degraded others. He thinks he is the best contractor around but that is only his EGO he is by far the slime ball of the area. Look out for him and don't fall into his trap of a salesman. My wife and I found out the hard way thats for sure....

Jay Remsburg and the staff of REM Construction is a top notch company. Their commitment to the customer satisfaction is far beyond most companies. Jay and his staff take thier time to make sure that the work being done is to the customers wants and desires. Like any project there are unforseen issues. When they come about Jay stepped right in a helped to solve the issue. From Jay, to the workers, to Hokan, their hard work and dedication is very genuine and professional. I strongly recommend Jay Remsburg and REM Construction to anyone looking to build a new home or remodel an existing home.

Unlike the other reviews, I have a different opinion. The work that should have taken 5 weeks took almost 5 months. There is poor management over the crews and the response to come back and fix the problems is very very poor. There were days where the workers waited for hours for materials, and there were days where the materials that they did get were wrong. REM talks a good game but never seems to follow up on fixing the problems and never takes responsibilty of fixing their problems.

REM construction is very detail oriented. REM listens to your ideas and also gives good experienced advise regarding construction.

I have found the workmanship of REM homes superior to any of the larger, "major" builders in the area.
