About AllShapes Bonsai Nursery Here you can find information about the nursery and its founders, David and Diane Hall, directions, business hours, and how to contact us. We are a full-service bonsai business offering bonsai supplies and services from repotting to tree sitting and storage. We are located in Ringoes, NJ and are open to the public during regular business hours. Shortly after being bit by the "bug" David and Diane Hall founders of Allshapes Bonsai Nursery became interested in miniature trees. While operating a plant and tree business in 1981, the fascination with the art form, care and other aspects of the hobby quickly took hold. As their love and passion grew for the trees so did their popularity. They have been guest speakers at various garden clubs, displayed trees at the New Jersey Flower Show, given bonsai workshops at local schools, and here AllShapes Bonsai Nursery A Word About Our Nursery Located in central New Jersey near the Flemington shopping mecca, the nursery sits just far enough from US highway 202 to be peaceful while still being quickly accessible. With a large collection of finished bonsai from small to large and hundreds of plants ( prebonsai and starters ) for the aspired hobbiest, Allshapes Bonsai has been labled "a must see". Among the trees offered for sale a few personal specimens are on display for inspiration. A series of 3 greenhouses are used to maintain the trees, each suited for wintering trees with a range of hardiness from tropicals to temperate, to fully hardy. While the hardy trees don't mind the cold, the fish in our pond do, so we keep it just above freezing to keep them happy too. The nursery is open to the public five days a week keeping regular hours for anyone wishing to visit. Visitors are welcome 5 days a week ; no need for an appointment or to call ahead.
