Dr. Van kirk is the BEST!! Being a first time mom I had a lot of questions, Dr. Vankirk always answered my questions with fact based answers and a little humor. During delivery he was absolutely amazing, kept us calm during what could have been a stressful situation. My husband and I had ( and still have ) full confidence in his skill and expertise. We are looking forward to our next pregnancy with Dr. Vankirk and his amazing staff!

I am a first time mom, and started seeing Dr. Van Kirk when I found out I was pregnant. I got along with him very well, he listened to me, and gave me clear answers. When It came time for the big day, he was calm, reassuring, nice, and made the delivery easy for me. I had some tearing and a lot of bleeding, but Dr. Van Kirk took great care of my needs, and I healed up beautifully! I cant wait to get pregnant again, and have Dr. Van Kirk right there with me. I highly recommend him!!

Dr. Van Kirk was my OB/GYN through both my pregnancies. He is unflappable, kind, and funny. He worked to make us comfortable even when, as first time parents, our son turned breach at week 37. He was always clear in his explanations, upfront about what we could expect, and an advocate for us. I feel lucky to have landed in such wonderful hands for both my pregnancies and deliveries. An excellent physician and surgeon.

The best care! The office staff makes you feel like a friend from the start. They are all so professional & caring. Excellent follow through navigating Ins., getting surgery scheduled, & keeping you in the loop. My husband appreciated the Dr. communicating after my surgery was over. You can tell that Dr. Vankirk enjoys his profession. Would highly recommend to my sisters, mom, & friends!

Dr. Van Kirk and his team are compassionate and kind. The entire team listens to concerns and is open to every question you might have. They explain things clearly and take the time to make sure it is understood. Dr. Van Kirk is by far the best! You are his concern when he is with you. He is genuine, straight forward, kind and funny.

Dr. Van Kirk took care of me through two pregnancies. The first being my first child so you can imagine I was nervous, he set all my anxiety at ease. The second was full of complications and preterm labor. Dr came to see me daily and make sure my health and well being was first priority. He was always very forward and honest about what was going on and made sure to take plenty of time with me daily just to check on my mental state while in the hospital. He is truly amazing. The office staff are just as amazing. They are always so welcoming and nice to talk to. Amber is the sweetest and is willing to work hard to make sure you as a patient feel appreciated and very well taken care of. I highly recommend Dr. Van Kirk and his staff.

He does not beat around the bush. He knows what he's talking about and makes sure you leave knowing everything you need to know. He has great bed side manner, funny and makes you feel comfortable. Dr. Van Kirk accepted me as a late transfer patient and got me in quickly because I was having a difficult time with the office of my previous doctor. The office staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If they don't know an answer, they find one and get back to me promptly. Dr. Van Kirk has been nothing but professional, pleasant, and he has spent time answering all my questions as a first time mom. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. I had a very complicated third pregnancy, in and out of the ER in frequency. By the grace of God, Dr. Van Kirk happen to be at Mercy one of the times I was admitted, checking on patients. I still hadn't found an OB, he took me on as a patient without hesitation. He's an extremely busy doctor, but always found time to answer my questions and get back to me in a timely manner, the duration of my pregnancy. He always took time to answer all my questions each visit, no matter how ridiculous they were, he was reassuring and set my mind at ease. The pregnancy was tough, all the way to the end. My water ruptured, but I was not showing signs of labor commensing which led to induction. Each choice he made had the best interest of me and my baby in mind, and he explained things every step of the way, which made things less scary. I had a VERY fast labor and delivery once the pitocin kicked in, one he will probably never forget! He barely made it to the hospital I progresses so quickly! Lol! I thank Dr. Van Kirk for his expertise, his commitment to his patients and their individual needs, his humour, his professionalism, and his love for what he does. I have a beautiful baby girl, safe and healthy.

Dr Van Kirk is very thorough and always explains things in terms you can understand. He also has a great sense of humor!

I've struggled my entire life with sexual issues and never wanted to discuss them with my Dr. Dr. Van Kirk was knowledgeable but most importantly he listened and was empathetic and compassionate in regards to my problems. He has encouraged me to deal with my concerns in a healthy and safe manner. It's the first time I've felt supported in this journey by the medical profession.
