I just wanted to let everyone know that the people who are mentioned in the negative comments don't even work there anymore. I stopped in the other day and they guys there spent alot of time talking to me and made me feel really comfortable with them. They said alot of there employees no longer are there. So I'd say head down and check them out. I know I'm going back

I got a memorial tattoo here i...

I got a memorial tattoo here in the year 2006 for a best-friend who passed away. It was my first tattoo and i was 17 at the time. Being from MA i researched a few places due to age restrictions in MA i had to go to CT. After checking out Acutes online website and checking out their work portfolios I decided to take a trip to Acute Body Arts for my tatt. I went there with a few dumb ideas for my first tattoo and laid them on the table. The artist explained to me that the ideas could be more than just a few letters and a straight ribbon which was my idea. He told me he would draw out an idea. Within maybe 45 minutes he came back with a perfect art piece which has become my tattoo. I originally wanted a straight ribbon which he turned into a spiral ribbon with perfect shading and unimaginable detail. Before my tattoo he knew it was my first and took the time to explain how sterilization works and what i should be looking for in a tattoo shop. We went over aftercare prior to getting my tatt to make sure i could keep up with the requirements. I assumed for my first tattoo i would go into a shop and get this mediocre tattoo piece done just like my friends who were 17 at the time and got their tatts at a house party. Luckily i missed the party that night, as some nightmarish work was done there and possibly dangerous work.

I decided to check out Acute body art again to see if it was still here since i am ready for my next tattoo for my daughter. I was surprised to see the bad reviews and i wish i though have writing one sooner because i feel they may be sabotaged reviews. These guys were amazing, they made me feel comfortable while i got my first tatt and made it a great experience. The shop itself is as clean as a doctors office or dental facility. I have a few ideas and when i go there in the next month or two i hope they can take my ideas and make another art form for my body.
